The twelve stones of the breastplate, which Aaron, the High Priest used to wear, symbolize the united people of Israel, as well as the equality of the children of Israel before their God.
This symbolism is demonstrated by the placement of rare and valuable stones alongside simple and common stones.
On every one of the twelve stones was engraved the name of its tribe ,and in this way the stones symbolized the connection which the High Priest represented between the twelve tribes and God. (exodus 28: 15-21) - size: 4⅓ x3⅓ Inch, 11x8.5cm
