And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me.

Arab Spring begins weeding out Christians

Islamic factions jockeying for position from out of the ashes of the Arab Spring are posing an increased threat to Middle East Christians, an international human rights group contends.

The British group Barnabas Aid says that Christians in Iran and Azerbaijan are coming under increased pressure from their governments.

Barnabas Aid wrote in its December prayer alert that there is cause for concern for Iran's persecuted believers, because Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei recently urged more than 2.5 million Muslims on a pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia to form "an international Islamic power bloc."

Israel’s Ministry of Tourism inaugurates the 63-km long Gospel Trail

After recent winter rains, the trail was muddy leading though Wadi Hammam past Mount Arbel toward Migdal – the home town of Mary Magdalene. But that didn’t deter Israel’s Minister of Tourism Stas Misezhnikov from the festive inauguration Tuesday of the new Gospel Trail created by his ministry along with the Jewish National Fund.

Christian leaders' heresy about Israel

Traditions of men - not the BibleNow is the time for all Christians who stand on the authenticity of the Word of God to condemn false teachers who are leading millions of Christians astray with their false doctrines and anti-Semitic views.

Today I read an article in the Jerusalem Post advocating that Jesus wasn't Jewish and was more likely a Palestinian! Every Christian friend of Israel is the target of these non-biblical Christian leaders who want us to give the enemy the ultimate victory by denying that our Messiah was a Jew. Because if Jesus is a "Palestinian" the Israel and Jews cannot stand on the Covenant that God made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Israel). This growing trend among Christians, especially Christian leaders, is both shocking and outrageous.

Islamic militants shouting "Allahu Akbar", or 'Allah is great', carried out coordinated gun and bomb attacks on churches and police stations in northern Nigeria, killing at least 67 people and injuring some 100 others, aid workers and witnesses confirmed Saturday, November 5.

Militant group Boko Haram, or 'Western education is a sin', claimed responsibility for the attacks Saturday, November 4, while frightened mourners tried to leave their homes to begin burying their dead.

The group, which seeks strict implementation of Shariah, or Islamic law, across the nation of more than 160 million people, pledged more attacks.

Would Jesus support a Palestinian state?

Would Jesus reject these sections of the Bible? In a recent blog post for CNN, Middle East expert and evangelical Christian, Carl Medearis, wrote a piece arguing that Jesus would support a Palestinian state.

I've met Carl on a couple of occasions. Carl is an amazing storyteller, a nice guy, and he truly loves Muslims. But his theology is utterly abysmal. And, even worse, his pro-Palestine position stands in direct conflict with the principles of justice, truth, love and righteousness.

Understand the significance of the Muslim's Mahdi 'messiah' in Joel Richardson's book, "The Islamic Antichrist: The Shocking Truth about the Real Nature of the Beast."

It is very nearly too late

Christians Celebrate in JerusalemSomething is becoming increasingly and distressingly  apparent with every passing month: So many of us Christians who stand with God’s purposes for Israel are way, way behind, and way out of touch. We’re sleeping. We’re dreaming. We’re looking in the wrong direction and, those who are calling out are calling into the teeth of a gale that is drowning us out and preparing to blow us away.

The hour is MUCH later than we think. We’re listening for the sound of far off war drums, straining to see the first signs of a distant enemy. We’re easily distracted, quick to speculate, readily misled. We run to our services and conferences and introverted gatherings where we seek affirmation from those around us and feed off one another.

Pope: Don't blame Jews for killing Jesus

Pope BenedictAs Passover season approaches, Pope Benedict is going on the record to affirm that Jews are not responsible for the crucifixion and death of Jesus.

In excerpts released today from his upcoming book, "Jesus of Nazareth. Holy Week: From the Entrance Into Jerusalem to the Resurrection," the pontiff completely exonerates the Jewish people of any culpability of the death of the Son of God.

Persecution of Christians Begins in "Democratic" Egypt

E-mail Print PDF

EgyptOnce the revolution began, Egypt’s Christians knew precisely what to expect. It isn’t that the regime of Husni Mubarak protected them so well from Muslim wrath. On the contrary, it was reluctant to prosecute Muslims who attacked and killed or wounded Christians as well as damaged or destroyed churches. The government often arrested Christians who defended themselves. But at least the regime’s power restrained anarchy, caught terrorists, and kept the Islamists at bay.

Now all that has changed. Despite the widely publicized statements by Brotherhood ideologue Yusuf al-Qaradawi in favor of Muslim-Christian amity in his big Cairo rally, this has no effect on the ground. In Assiut, a Coptic priest was stabbed 22 times by a man yelling “Allahu Akhbar.” Next, the Egyptian army—the guardian of democracy as it is now styled—attacked the St. Bishoy monastery outside of Cairo and the St. Makarios monastery near Alexandria, using tanks and bullets. One monk was wounded and several were beaten.
