The Missing Jew Seeking Wholeness
This striking piece of jewelry was designed by Rori Hopper (Salomon Group Design) specially for the re-opening of Yad Vashem.
By creating an incomplete star, Rori expresses the loss of six million Jewish lives during the holocaust, and the ever present awarness of the missing portion of our people.
This missing portion of the star can be interpreted in different ways: - 1. As a striving for completion as an individual and as a nation
- 2. You wear it - You complete it.
- 3. As a reminder that we are still a scattered nation.
Size: diameter 0.8 inch
