Terrorists in the Gaza Strip fired a Qassam rocket the western Negev on Thursday, putting further strain on a fragile ceasefire deal in the Hamas-controlled territory. An Israel Defense Forces spokesman said the rocket hit an open field near the Gaza border town of Sderot.
