If you examine the historical processes that led to the National Socialist party and Adolf Hitler usurping the democratic process to achieve their goal of gaining control of Germany, you would be astonished by the similarities taking place right now in Palestinian Authority. We all saw these same aggressive fascist tactics evident in Egypt with the Muslim Brotherhood.In Gaza the Hamas organization is the most accurate example of this premise. Hamas are successfully emulating Hitler\u2019s strategy for total control.
\nHitler believed that the NAZI party would have the best chance of reaching its goals by participating and manipulating the democratic process. They were profoundly aware of the varied processes that would need to be dominated to propel them to power.The following comparison will demonstrate the tactics of Hitler with what is proving successful with Hamas in Gaza\/Palestine and the possible modus operandi of the radical Islamic groups in the greater Arab world.<\/p>\n
Every totalitarian knows that to control the masses you must control the way people receive information. The most important goal is not only to control and shape propaganda to their purposes, but to manipulate the emotions of the people. Never before in history was propaganda used on the scale of Hitler\u2019s Germany to control the people under their domination. An aggressive campaign by the NAZI\u2019s resulted in total control of all forms of propaganda including media, religion and all cultural institutions. This coupled with the brutal suppression and elimination of all detractors to the NAZI parties\u2019 agenda led them to unprecedented success in shaping the minds of millions and leading them to oblivion.<\/p>\n
Hamas has been practicing these same techniques in Gaza and in the west bank. There is no freedom of speech in Gaza. All news that can be controlled is under their direction. There continues to be many reports of foreign journalists and their representatives in Gaza being openly threatened and in a few cases arrested or killed. Any news that comes from Gaza has almost certainly been tainted by this control. Just as insidious is the language of appeasement to the west. Hitler had great success keeping the west in the dark about his plans through blatant lies and manipulating the world through eloquent speeches of peace and disarmament. We see many examples of how the Palestinians use a conceived plan of lies and libel to manipulate the west against Israel. Regrettably the western Media and Politicians respond only to this sensationalism and by the time the truth is exposed the damage has been done. Unfortunately the libels told to their own people are even more sinister and blatant with no independent media to challenge the lies.<\/p>\n
