\nThe IDF started a ground campaign into Gaza with a very clear mission and a Nation behind them. These words were broadcast to Israeli Soldiers as they were entering Gaza by their commander. <\/p>\n
“Your nation is behind you the terrorists from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad are ahead of you. I have trust in you and believe in your capabilities. Go ahead. Good luck. Over and out.”<\/p>\n
It is true that the vast majority of Israelis are behind this move and no one is in doubt that it is a necessary operation to restore peace to the civilians of Israel. After many long and traumatic years of Israelis having to live with thousands of missiles being launched at them this move is long overdue.<\/p>\n
The decision to send in ground troops to Gaza is not one taken lightly as the dangers are many. Hamas has had plenty of time to prepare for this invasion and will make sure that every step is fraught with danger for Israeli soldiers. Forget the normal difficulties in fighting in an urban environment, the terrorists in Gaza will almost certainly employ unconventional tactics. Every step our soldiers take into the warrens of Hamas controlled Gaza will be treacherous ones. Houses will be booby-trapped, IED\u2019s will have been prepared and ambushes set. The civilian population will of course be part of Hamas’s military strategy. Not to protect their civilians but to ensure that Israelis soldiers will be forced into situations where their human shields will be killed.<\/p>\n
The \u2018Pallywood\u2019 machine of propaganda and lies is already in full force and they will do their best to ensure that as many pictures and stories of the \u2018brutal Israelis\u2019 \u2018massacring woman and children\u2019 are fed to the insatiable western media circus. The victories Hams seek more than killing innocent Israelis is to see Israel vilified once again in the eyes of the world. It\u2019s an easy victory for them and they know it.<\/p>\n
Looking at the way the media is already depicting this conflict they have already won. This should not be shocking to all who know the truth. Now it has become an especially blatant and unjust hate fest against the nation of Israel. <\/p>\n
While allot of the Arab media is unequivocal in its condemnation of Hamas for this conflict the western media is living in a twilight zone of recycled clich\u00e9s and outright propaganda for the enemies of truth. <\/p>\n
We see a deluge of anti-Semitism riding the back of ant-Israelism, boldly expressed throughout the world. It is not proportionate to the reality on the ground or even in a global sense. Actual genocides are taking place right now and they are not manufactured in the Hamas and BDS propaganda playbook. <\/p>\n
We are living in a pivotal time in the history of the Jewish people. Jews around the world are once again feeling the unbridled hatred for their kind not seen since the Nazis. I don\u2019t think there is one Jewish family who has not discussed the idea of Aliya and it won\u2019t take much more for them to make that decision.<\/p>\n
Israel\u2019s war with Hamas is not just a war for the citizens of Israel it is a war for the Jewish nation globally. Now more than ever Israel must be strong and united as it needs to remain a homeland and safe haven for the Jewish people. They need to know they have a place to come home to when the world once again turns on them.<\/p>\n
“For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. And these [are] the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.” Jeremiah 30: 3,4<\/p>\n
