by Tom Brennan,
Behind the wall of words: real Americans support Israel, even when some in their Government do not.
Welcome Mr. Netanyahu. It’s a morale booster for us to have a real leader and a hero come to speak to our Congress and tell us what is really going on in your region. All we hear from our President is distortions, distractions and things so totally devoid of reality that they are absurd to even the most imaginative individual. We are still disturbed by the grotesque solution to the recruiting by The Caliphate of foreign and sectarian fighters: a jobs program and business opportunities. The brutal form of Islam these monsters follow is never mentioned; the atrocities which they justify by the Quran are ignored, crimes against Christians, women and children are ignored by mainstream press, it’s like a very bad horror movie. Yet no one seems able to grasp the desperate battle for absolute survival that is involved with an idea that allows no tolerance, liberty or freedoms cherished by most nations and faiths. Israel stands with two former enemies, Egypt and Jordan holding off vicious and merciless hosts from north south and east. Their numbers are growing, fed by an ancient blood lust for power that knows no fear and never surrenders. Jihadists die fighting, they show no mercy to prisoners, they obliterate holy places they consider blasphemous to their sect of Islam, even the mosques of other Muslims. Yet the world remains silent, women’s groups who have declared that there is a “war on women” say nothing about how the Jihadists degrade women and girls and how Sharia Law is their guide. You know first hand how to meet this violent and unrelenting horde of barbarians: with force and determination. Our Congress is quite different from the Knesset and parliamentary system in Israel. Our size and traditions are based on the wisdom of our Founders, whom some within the current administration have described as the “terrorists” of their time. They were astute in the knowledge of the mind of man and knew that people would change their minds and want new ideas so the House of Representatives was held to two year terms. This would keep a flow of ideas moving and the ones that worked would result in the Representatives being re-elected. The ebb and flow of popular movements among the citizens would see its own levels and keep steady in the long run. The Senate was to be the “older brother”, it was expected that a Senator was a well known individual whose mind and character would be more mature and less inclined towards fads and folly. The Congress has the duty to “advise and consent” on matters such as treaties. The Congress will decide on any settlement with Iran, that is why the Speaker invited you to advise them. He is under no obligation to ask permission of any of the other co-equal branches of our Government about whom he may invite to address the Congress. The absentees will be noted for their nonattendance and they will not be missed. Lines are being drawn as the world is drawn into wider conflict and this is no time for cowards and skulkers. Some day those who heard you speak will recall with great pride where they were and what they heard, history will be made on March 3, 2015.
Mr. Prime Minister, we Christians support Israel because the Bible tells us to do so. It is the home of our faith and the truths we share with our brothers and sisters in Eretz Israel. Mr. Obama may be our President, but you are our Prime Minister. Our prayers go with you. Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and for those who are enduring the fury of the Jihad.

I love you, Israel, because I love Jesus and my father. I love you, Israel, because you are the only country in the middle east that does not starts wars. I love you, Israel, because I love your people and your leader. God bless Bibi Netanyahu. Forgive our American leaders, Israel. When we turned from God, we turned from you, but God is with you. He is not your last resort – He is your first line of defense. In 22 months, when our most treacherous leader leaves the white house, the relationship between our two countries will improve. I, we, all pray for that. Shalom.

Where would we be without Israel? I despair of the ignorance of so many Christians who either embrace BDS and shout against Israel, or stay silent and sit on the fence.
Both are equally guilty.
As the saying goes. “Those who howl with the wolves, neither attacking or defending the sheep are equally guilty of the death of the sheep”

WELL SAID TOM BRENNAN. Bibi Netanyahu’s address to congress today was outstanding. He is a true leader. True Christians in America love and support him.

God bless you Prime Minister, thank you for your courage to stand up like the prophets of old according to the Torah. You are an inspiration to those in America. May the truth set us free! We pray for Israel, May Elohim keep you safe and bold like a Lion.

I love Israel and the Jews so much that I feel I have Jewish blood running through my veins. I’ve been to Israel and would like to move there but don’t think they would take a gentile with all the Jews returning from France and the Ukraine. PM Netanyahu’s speech was spectacular. I wish He was MY Prime Minister. Please, please, you fortunate Jews, re-elect PM Netanyahu for your great country. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the protection of Israel everyday. Obama may not like your PM, but millions of Christians do and I contribute money to Israel for various projects, i.e., bomb shelters during Hamas War and for Jews returning to Israel. Keep in mind that there will never be peace until the Prince of Peace returns. Baruch Atah Adonai

Be assured that there are many of us in the UK who love and pray for Israel, regardless of our government’s lack of support. God Bless Israel.

Thank you,
Our governments and the press seem to omit getting the approval of the people they allegedly speak for and represent. They would be shocked if they knew the depth of support for Israel from the “common people” like us.
