The Hoshen (Hebrew: Choshen) was the breastplate of Judgment worn by the High Priest in the book of Exodus in the Bible, covered by 12 stones that represented the 12 tribes of Israel.

The priest bore the names of the sons of Israel in the breastplate of judgment, upon his heart, when he would enter the Holy place, to bring them in continual remembrance before the Lord, Exodus 28:29. Moses' assistant Aaron also wore this to represent the 12 tribes of Israel. Judah is only one of 12.
