Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem. Born in Kibbutz Sha'alavim, he grew up in Jerusalem. His style is based upon a fusion of traditional motifs and ancient Jewish manuscripts with modern and Oriental art. Vivid and harmonious colors as well as a mixture of the old and the new characterize Emanuel's work, designed in his Jerusalem studio.

We are proud to present an exciting line of Artistic Judaica by Yair Emanuel. These fabulous candlesticks are a perfect dash of color for the Sabbath or any special occasion! The motif includes a colorful wildlife scene reminiscent of Armenian ceramic. The design was hand-painted with a brush using acrylic colors and then lacquered, with a brass insert for the candle itself. Vivid and harmonious colors characterize the hand-painted wood. As these pieces are covered with layers of lacquer and contain a brass candle insert, they are totally functional and waterproof and may be hand-washed.
