By Tamar Messer, a highly talented and respected Israeli artist and teacher.
The book of Esther contains twenty magnificent illustrations that tell the story of Purim.
The illustration's proportion is stretched in order to hint and demonstrate a structure of a scroll.
Esther made a quick and brave decision: 'Tell the people to fast three days and three nights and I shall go in to the king. If I live, I live and if I perish, I perish.'
Then Esther put on her royal apparel and bravely went to the king's throne room.
As she entered the room, a hush fell over the royal court. They knew the king favored this woman above all others, but they also knew the king had not called for her. What mood would the king be in?
