Read Part 1
On October 8th the world will experience the second of a series of four Blood Moons that Pastor John Hagee of Cornerstone Baptist Church in San Antonia Texas in his book, “Four Blood Moons: Something is About to Change,” claims to portend of possible prophetic events.
In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network regarding his book, Pastor Hagee told CBN News, “There’s a sense in the world that things are changing and God is trying to communicate with us in a supernatural way.” Relating it to other astronomical events in biblical history such as the star that followed the wise men to Jesus, or when in the Book of Joshua (Joshua 10:13), the sun stood still allowing for the victory of the Israelites over their enemies, Hagee said, “I believe that in these next two years, we’re going to see something dramatic happen in the Middle East involving Israel that will change the course of history in the Middle East and impact the whole world.”
Another pastor, Mark Blitz, has similarly drawn attention to these four Blood Moons and their connection with Passover and Sukkot. He too stresses that such occurrences have had great significance for Israel in the past. There is also a solar eclipse on March 20th, 2015 which falls on the exact date of the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah. This is during the period between the first two Blood Moons in 2014 and the last two in 2015. Mark has not attempted to predict what this might mean.
Seeing the link with the several end time prophetic versus that speak of the sun going dark and the moon turning to blood, one might question if Yeshua Jesus might be about to return. Although a tetrad of lunar eclipses falling on the Jewish holidays is unusual, we know that including this most recent occurrence, they will have happened a total of 8 times in 21 centuries. Tetrad Blood Moons are fairly common with 62 occurrences during the 21 centuries since the birth of Christ, including this century. The next one after 2014-2015 will be in 2032-2033. It is true that the last three tetrads that occurred on Jewish holidays held significance for the Jews as a people but they are not necessarily proof of Messiah’s return. There are also other conditions that could result in the same effect such as changes in atmospheric conditions.
A note about moons. The Harvest Moon, by tradition, is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox. Its brightness allowed farmers to continue to harvest their crop past sunset. Thus the name Harvest Moon. The full moon following the Harvest Moon is called the Hunter’s Moon. It was by the light of this moon that hunters were able to stalk their prey and stockpile food for the coming winter. It is distinguished in that for several nights in a row, it sits farther north on the horizon providing light for the hunt.
… to be continued.

David says
If I’m not mistaken, Rosh Hashana takes place on Sept 13 2015 not on March 20. Forgive me if I’m wrong.
Sharon says
David, you are correct. Rosh HaShanah is in the fall. What can you expect from a goyim. He needs to get his Festivals correct. Pesach is in the spring, and the New Year is in the Fall. The dates we are looking at is on Pesach and Sukkot. Sukkot follows Yom Kippur. It is the only feast we will ALL be celebrating in the Millennium. Exciting.

Please read Acts 2:20 in the context of the chapter. Joel 2 was fulfilled in Acts 2. John Hagee and Mark Blitz are self-promoting salesmen of spiritual snake oil.

Randall, I reviewed your point you were trying to make about Acts 2:20, however, you are the one taking it out of context. This was not fulfilled in Acts. It merely points out from this point forward the clock begins to tick toward the Day of Adonai. The Day of Adonai is not just one day, but a period of time. The Tribulation period is part of the Day of Adonai and the Judgement. The Blood Moons specifically mentioned in Joel 3:4, Revelation 6:12 and Acts 2:20 and several other areas, such as in Isaiah. The thing fulfilled in Acts was the Ruach HaKodesh falling upon the Jewish believers waiting as Yeshua had instructed for Shavout or in Christian terms, Pentecost.
Sorry, my friend, I do believe Biltz and Hagee are dramatic, but there is something to be said about watching and being alert. We should not date set, however, these are direct signs from our Scriptures. Blessings to you.
