Polished Rams Horn Shofar. Mentioned in the Tanach (Hebrew for Bible) over 70 times, the Shofar is used powerfully as an instrument of God in accomplishing His purpose.

Blow the trumpet in Zion,
And sound an alarm in My holy mountain!
Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble;

The classical shofar is made out of rams horn and is most likely the one, which was used in biblical times. The polished model has a shiny surface.
