Shabbat

For the Jewish people, Shabbat or Sabbath is the day of rest and worship. The Book of Exodus marks the seventh day as the day of rest. On this day, God took rest from creation and commanded that Shabbat be observed as a resting day. For believers in Yeshua / Jesus the same commandment applies for the Sabbath "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy".
