The Missing Jew Seeking Wholeness
This striking piece of jewelry was designed by Rory Hooper (Salomon Group Design), especially for the re-opening of Yad Vashem.
By creating an incomplete star, Rori expresses the loss of six million Jewish lives during the holocaust and the ever-present awareness of the missing portion of our people.
This missing portion of the star can be interpreted in different ways:
1. As a striving for completion as an individual and as a nation
2. You wear it - You complete it.
3. As a reminder that we are still a scattered nation. Size: diameter 0.7 inch
Made from sterling silver
Note: Chain styles may vary
Shipped direct from Jerusalem.
